Terms of Use

Last updated: 31 May 2026

These terms govern your use of the Threlmark website at threlmark.com and the Threlmark application (together, the "Service"). By using the Service you agree to these terms.

1. The Service

Threlmark is a local-first tool for managing projects and their roadmaps. It runs on your own device and stores your data as files on your computer. The website provides information about the tool and access to it.

2. Permitted use

You may use the Service for your personal and professional project planning. You are responsible for the content you create and for complying with applicable law. You agree not to misuse the Service or attempt to disrupt its operation.

3. Your data and backups

Because Threlmark is local-first, all data you create is stored on your own device and remains under your control. You are solely responsible for backing up, securing, and managing that data. We have no access to it and cannot recover it for you.

4. No warranty

The Service is provided "as is" and "as available", without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied, including but not limited to fitness for a particular purpose, accuracy, or uninterrupted availability. You use the Service at your own risk.

5. Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Thorsten Meyer shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages, or for any loss of data, profits, or business, arising from your use of or inability to use the Service. Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot be limited under applicable law (including liability for intent or gross negligence, or for injury to life, body, or health).

6. Third-party links

The Service may link to third-party websites. We are not responsible for the content or practices of those sites.

7. Changes

We may update these terms from time to time. Continued use of the Service after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the revised terms.

8. Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of the Federal Republic of Germany, to the extent permitted by mandatory consumer-protection law. Place of jurisdiction is, where legally permissible, the registered location of the operator.
